Training Approach & Methodology

Part 1: On-Site Executive Development Programme (EDP) Training

Participants will undergo a classroom training. The methodology includes Lectures, Group Activities, Video Presentations, Case Studies, Simulations & Role Plays.

The key activities during Part 1:

  1. Building and Achieving Self-Efficacy (BASE)
  2. Project and Event Management
  3. Business Writing
  4. Business Appreciation
  5. Presentation and Public Speaking Skills
  6. Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
  7. Information Management
  8. Interpersonal Communication
  9. Basic Management Skills
  10. Employability Enhancement Skills
  11. Sports & Recreational Activities
  12. Surau Activities (for Muslims)


Part 2: Apperenticeship Programme

Participants will undergo on-the-job training at the selected organisations. The methodology includes Coaching Sessions, Visits, Case Studies, Research and Project Involvement.

Matching of participants and participating organisations will be done based on the most suitable job pattern following the profiling done using a profiling tool. Pre and Post tests will assess participants on some basic competencies such as Communication, Problem Solving, Management, and Leadership.

Participants will be given an opportunity to gain practical work experience at an established organisation for a period of 6 months.
